What this policy covers
This page explains what information ChickenCount collects when you visit the site, how it's used, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we don't require an account, and the calculator itself runs entirely in your browser.
Information we collect
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic to the site: pages visited, general location (country/region level), device type, and how long visitors stay. This data is aggregated and not tied to your name or email, because we don't collect either unless you contact us directly.
The calculator saves your last-used flock settings (number of chickens, feed price, and similar inputs) in your browser's local storage so they're remembered on your next visit. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email, and message you provide so we can reply. This information is sent to our support email and is not added to any marketing list or shared with third parties.
If you sign up for email updates, we store your email address to send you occasional updates about the site. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.
Cookies
Analytics and advertising services may set cookies to measure traffic and, where applicable, show relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the calculator will still work without them.
